Many employers confirm participation in NMC Career Fair
Many companies have already confirmed their participation in Thursday’s, April 3, Career Fair at the Northern Marianas College.
The Career Fair, which is aimed at connecting jobseekers with employers, will feature several private sector companies, non-profit organizations, and government agencies that are looking to fill key vacancies within their organizations. Community members who are seeking jobs are encouraged to attend.
“We are really pleased with the positive responses that we have received from businesses and organizations,” said Neda Deleon Guerrero, Career Services manager. “I hope many job seekers take advantage of the Fair by coming to meet these employers in person.”
The participating organizations include the CNMI Department of Labor: Employment Services and WIA (Workforce Investment Agency), Hyatt Regency Saipan, Sorensen Media group, CDI Workforce Development, Commonwealth Office of Transit Authority, DFS Saipan, Office of Personnel Management, J.C. Tenorio Enterprises, Pacific Islands Club, Commonwealth Utilities Corp., Marianas Health, CNMI Head Start Program, Public School System, Pacifica Insurance, Northern Marianas College Human Resources, College Access Challenge Grant, Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, and the Northern Marianas Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence.
The event will be held at 9am and will end at 12pm in NMC’s Room D1.
Individuals who plan on attending the career fair but have no transportation are encouraged to call the Commonwealth Office of Transit Authority and reserve their ride in advance. There will also be accessible passenger vans for individuals with disabilities.
