Saipan Southern High School’s Manta Ray Battalion underwent an inspection for the JROTC Program of Accreditation In-Ranks Inspection and Color Guard last Oct. 26, 2017.
U.S Army recruiters SFC Rivero and SFC Cortez, along with CNMI’s MSU JROTC SFC Crolla, inspected the Manta Ray Battalion.
The Manta Ray Battalion accumulated a percentage of 96 percent for In-Ranks Inspection and a 100 percent for the color guard.
This inspection was JPA Part 1
JPA Part 2 will be conducted on Dec. 6, 2017, by the 8th Brigade headquarters from Joint Base Lewis McChord, Washington.
Part 2 consists of battalion staff continuous improvement briefing & interview; service learning briefing; cadet portfolio & interview; unit report; and instructor portfolio & interview. (PR)
