The Marianas Alliance of Non-Government Organizations, Inc. will be holding its annual local capacity building event next week.

The Program Managers Training is targeted primarily for NGOs as well as for non-profit organizations or NPOs.

MANGO is the umbrella association of all Northern Mariana Islands-based NGOs.

This year, MANGO will be partnering with Asia Pacific Islander American Health Forum.

“We are privileged to partner this time with APIAHF who has graciously offered to bring their resources, expertise, and U.S. national network for our APIA community right here in our backyard, our Marianas,” MANGO’s board of directors said.

The training is a two-day event and will be held at the Pacific Islands Club Saipan in San Antonio on June 18 and 19 and will be from 9am to 5pm.

It is an interactive training for new and potential managers from public health non-governmental organizations serving any and all populations.

MANGO said they hope to reach a diverse group of trainees this year.

Seats are on a “first registered, first served basis” and limited to the first 30 online registrants. Online registrations can be made at http://bit.ly/1LOFr0f.

Deadline for registration is today, June 12.
