Man’amko news and hopes

My congratulations to all of the new Man’amko Council members upon their getting mandates from the man’amko congregation to lead us! We hope we have made right decision to trust you to manage our resources and improve man’amko life not only at the Aging Center but life of all the CNMI elderly.

It is so nice to see among the members our King Diego Pua, out nicely singing Jesus Pangelinan (they both got re-elected!), our active and respectful Manuel Sablan, and all the five beautiful council ladies. God bless you all on your upcoming hard work for us!

Also, we the elderly extend our warmest gratitude to our energetic director Walter Manglona for organizing a memorable man’amko trip to Guam so long expected. Our people enjoyed the beautiful sites of Guam. Man’amko is excited to visit Two Lovers Point, Micronesian Mall, etc.  They all sang and danced a lot and still found time to play their beloved Bingo!

Naming the things of pleasures more, our man’amko visited so called “colleagues” from the Mangelao and Tamuning Aging Centers and discussed common “professional” matters and concerns. Our people were given reception by Mangeleo Mayor Mr. Blass. They met their relatives in Guam. They got charged highly and positively! It was our man’amko’s second visit to Guam after the times when Joe Palacio had been Saipan Aging Center’s director.

Now the man’amko are back and are feeling happier, stronger, and grateful for those days of enjoyment. Currently, they are anticipating the chance to ride all over our local nice places again, spend days in one of the best restoration places. We wish our staff keep up their work to satisfy our needs.

Life is going on. The man’amko are thankful to the Lord and are full of new initiatives and new projects. A new hope is in the air that our beautiful islands’ new leadership lead by our honorable Governor Mr. Torres, the honorable senators, and honorable congressmen will find ways to address and support the CNMI elderly.  We thank them for their efforts on behalf of the man’amko.  Welcome from the man’amko! Biba man’amko!
