The Office on Aging has recently purchased several supplies and equipment for the use of man’amko on Saipan, Tinian, and Rota.

Aging director Rose Mondala said these purchases include coffee percolators, water dispenser, lawnmowers, desktop computer and printer, pots and pans, chairs, beddings, adult diapers, and diabetic shoes.

Mondala added that they are also in the process of purchasing two vans for the congregates at the Aging Center. She said they have a $77,000 budget for the vans, which would be obtained from Hawaii.

The new vans would bring the total number of vehicles of the Office on Aging to nine. Mondala noted, however, that some of their buses have to be repaired.
