A man who was arrested for theft of services has pleaded guilty to the charge filed against him and has since been sentenced to one year in prison.

Keene Gavin Deleon Guerrero recently pleaded guilty to the charge of theft of services and was sentenced to an imprisonment term of one year, but all suspended. This means Deleon Guerrero will not serve jail time, but the sentence can be imposed in part or fully if he does not comply with his release conditions.

Superior Court Associate Judge Kenneth L. Govendo said the sentence was imposed after considering the facts of the case, the recommendations of counsel, the mitigating circumstances, and the plea agreement between the parties.

Deleon Guerrero was placed under supervised probation for a year and was ordered to pay a probation fee of $120.  In addition, Deleon Guerrero will pay $64.28 in restitution to the Garapan Mobil gas station. He will also perform 80 hours of community service and he shall stay away from the Garapan Mobil gas station. (Kimberly B. Esmores)
