Police arrested a 25-year-old man for allegedly kicking a car parked at a poker arcade in Sadog Tasi on Tuesday night.

Omar R. Nawaz was arrested for criminal mischief and disturbing the peace. A $500 cash was initially imposed for his temporary release.

Police detective Jason Tarkong stated in his report that a police sergeant responded to Capitol Poker on Tuesday after a Chinese man sought police’s help.

The complainant informed the police sergeant that Nawaz kicked his car and fled the area.

At 8:21pm, another police officer spotted Nawaz, who matched the description about the suspect, at Prince Hotel in Sadog Tasi.

Nawaz was handcuffed and taken into custody.

The officer drove Nawaz to Capitol Poker, where the complainant identified him as the person who kicked his 2003 silver Toyota Corolla sedan.

The report did not indicate the extent of damage to the vehicle.
