Man Amigos’ Eric Palacios currently is the league leader in homeruns, runs batted in, and earned run average in the men’s division of the 2022 Budweiser Belau Amateur Softball Association League.

Palacios so far has laid the lumber four times in the young season to share the homerun lead with five others—Garfield Sablan, John Terlaje, Taylor Germance, Jeff Cruz, and Deshawn Reign.

With 10 RBIs, Palacios also is tops in the department followed by Garfield Sablan, Jeff Cruz, Dominic Hideo with seven each and John Terlaje, James Fleming, Mike Tomakane, and Allen Teliu with six RBIs apiece.

Palacios has also impressed from the mound with a 0.00 ERA so far. John Diaz of Ngaraard Redmen is second with a 1.00 ERA with Ku Damien of Momma Charu completing the Top 3 with a 1.06 ERA.

In the batting race, Asahi’s Dominic Hideo is ahead with an .875 average. Tokehao’s Robert Bansil and Hideo’s teammate Hector Efraim are second and third with batting averages of .833 and .800, respectively.

Jaime Reyes and John Terlaje have scored the most runs so far with five each, while those with four are Mike Tomokane, Garfield Sablan, James Fleming, Eric Palacios, Barrie Maratita, J.J. Laniyo, Suo Matsutaro, Allen Teliu, and Hector Efrain.

In doubles, Jeff Cabrera, Robert Bansil, Payton Sakuma, Hector Efraim, and Audie Maratita are tied at first with three each, while 23 others are tied with one apiece.

Dominic Hideo so far paces everyone in strikeouts with nine, followed by Kui Damien, Tom Camacho, and Ray Villagomez with six each. Joe Celis completes the Top 3 in strikeouts with six Ks.

In the women’s division, Queen of the Diamond’s Kiana Aldan is numero uno in four categories—runs scored, triples, homeruns, and RBIs.

Aldan has scored seven runs so far in the season in a tie with teammate Kiana Camacho. The 1-2 punch of the league-leading team is followed by Erica Tenorio with six, while Emi Oiterong, Rosie Saralu, and Sonia Isaac are all tied in third place with five apiece.

Aldan shares the lead in triples with one with six others—Keolani Rios, Edilyn Benjamin, Joyce Taro, Daisy Kaipat, Rosie Saralu, and Keyona Tudela.

She’s also the current homerun queen with three round-trippers so far this season. Rosie Saralu is the lone player in the women’s league to also have a homerun with one.

In RBIs, Aldan and Saralu share the cake with six each, followed by the five of Kayla Kaipat. Bert Camacho, Janica Lizama, Keyona Tudela, and Mardina Kaipat have four RBIs in their name.

In batting average, Aldan’s teammate Keolani Rios is tops with an .800 batting average. Hot Shots’ Erica Tenorio is second with a norm of .778 with Aldan completing the Top 3 at .709.

Queen of the Diamond’s Bert Camacho tops the ERA department with a 1.91 average. Kosebaki’s Jennie Scaliem is second with an ERA of 2.15 with Hot Shots’ Lem Ogumoro third at 2.33.

Jennie Scaliem lords it over in the strikeouts category with 13 followed by Bert Camacho with 11. Emy Oiterong and Analyn Olupumar shared third with five apiece.
