Man, 58, pleads guilty to watching a girl shower
A 58-year-old man accused of peeping at a 17-year-old girl who was showering inside her home in Kagman pleaded guilty and was slapped with a five-day prison term.
Ricardo San Nicolas Muña pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace as part of a plea deal.
Superior Court Associate Judge Joseph N. Camacho sentenced Muña to the maximum imprisonment of six months, all suspended except for five days, with credit for five days of time served. That means he will no longer serve more time in prison.
Muña was placed on probation for five months and 25 days. He was required to pay $25 in court costs and $25 in probation fee.
Muña is prohibited from having any contact with the teenager during his probation. He is also required to attend alcohol counseling and prohibited from possessing or consuming any alcoholic beverages or controlled substances.
The girl was showering on May 29, 2015, when she saw Muña watching her, causing her to scream and panic.
Police said Muña watched the girl through an opening in the door. The girl told police that Muña did the same thing a month before.
Assistant attorney general Shannon Foley represented the government at the hearing. Assistant public defender Tillman Clark served as counsel for Muna.
