Malua Peter joins CCA board
The Commonwealth Cancer Association announced yesterday the election of Maria Malua T. Peter as a new member of the CCA board of directors. Member elections took place at the CCA annual membership and board of directors meeting on Jan. 15, 2015, at 5:30pm at the CCA conference room in Gualo Rai.
The meeting also saw the re-election of Roman “Bo” T. Palacios, Magdalena “Maggie” C. Camacho, and Vivian S. Taitano, completing the CCA’s seven-member board, which also includes incumbent members Lauri B. Ogumoro, Bobbi Grizzard, and Agnes McPhetres.
At the Feb. 17 board meeting, the election of board officers saw the re-elections of Ogumoro to serve as president, Palacios as vice president, Grizzard as secretary, and Camacho as treasurer.
