Making a difference: Fiesta repaints bus stops

Share

As part of its corporate responsibility initiative, Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan launched Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014, its adopt-a-bus stop campaign in Garapan.

Managers and staff members took to the streets of Garapan for their adopt-a-bus stop project designed to give the bus stops a facelift with a new coat of paint.

With the support and permission of the Public School System, Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan adopted five bus stops in Garapan that they will maintain as part of their corporate responsibility in helping the community and keeping the CNMI beautiful as they believe that beauty is a contributing factor to everyone’s wellbeing.

“We were able to paint two bus stops today, thanks to the managers and staff who joined forces to make this happen,” said Fiesta general manager Abner S. Acosta.

The Fiesta team agreed that cleaning up the bus stops is only half the challenge; the other half is keeping them free of graffiti. Weather permitting, the Fiesta team will continue to paint on Saturdays until all five adopted bus stops are completed. (PR)
