Officials of the Make-A-Wish Foundation recently presented Hyatt Regency Saipan with a plaque of appreciation to give thanks to the support the hotel resort has always extended to the foundation to make children’s wishes come true.

Make-A-Wish Foundation executive director Victor Camacho, Program Services manager Kaleena Aguon, and board member Kanae Quinn presented the plaque to Hyatt Regency Saipan general manager Nick Nishikawa on May 7, 2014.

Camacho expressed his gratitude on behalf of Make-A-Wish Foundation Guam, saying, “Make-A-Wish is dedicated to making every eligible child’s wish come true. The support we receive from the Northern Marianas community through Hyatt Saipan’s annual golf tourney is truly amazing. Each year the funds raised through this tournament help grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. We are humbled by the positive and generous response from the community and we are thankful for our friends at Hyatt Saipan.”

The plaque recognized Hyatt Saipan as an outstanding corporate donor, primarily from the funds raised during the annual Club at the Hyatt golf tournament.

“Make-A-Wish Foundation not only grants wishes but also gives children a sense of empowerment over their illness, which is why Hyatt Regency Saipan has supported and will continue to support this foundation,” said Nishikawa.

Hyatt Regency Saipan is a major supporter of granting wishes through Make-A-Wish Foundation and hosts events such as its Charity Golf Classic, to raise money and gather donations for the foundation.

This year, Hyatt will be hosting their annual Hyatt Regency Saipan Charity Golf Classic—formerly called the Club at the Hyatt Golf Classic—on Nov. 22, 2014, at Coral Ocean Point.
