Make-A-Wish seeks donors to fulfill wishes of CNMI kids

Make-A-Wish experiences often involve travel, especially with kids from the CNMI and Guam. Each year, Make-A-Wish sends several wish kids and their families on trips and help make their dreams come true with help from our generous communities.

“The Make-A-Wish Foundation often arranges travel for wish kids to reach their wish destinations, whether it’s to meet a celebrity, go to their favorite theme park or a shopping spree or reconnect with extended family who have moved away,” said Eric Tydingco, Make-A-Wish Board chairman.

“Air travel is a critical resource as we work to grant the heartfelt—and oftentimes very creative—wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions,” said Victor Camacho, Make-A-Wish’s executive director. “Donating to Make-A-Wish will allow us to continue creating countless lasting moments for children with life-threatening medical conditions here in our communities. You can truly make a difference in a child’s life.”

Thanks to Joe Guerrero and Eleanor Cabrera, the Naked Fish Bar & Grill will again be this year’s venue for CNMI’s Wish Night on Friday, Nov. 13, 2015, starting at 5:30pm. Tickets are $50 per person and include food, drinks, live music, and fun. Tickets are now available for sale at the Naked Fish Bar & Grill, Gold’s Gym Saipan, and board members Eleanor Cabrera (483-4117) and Kanae Quinn (285-1168) or email cnmiwish@gmail.com for more information.
