Mafia vs Pythons in Masters finals
The 6JMS Mafia and 6JMS Pythons arranged their finals showdown in the Masters Division of the Saipan Electronic Darts Association Bud Light Cup after scoring similar wins over their semis foes last Wednesday.
The No. 1 seed 6JMS Mafia booked the first finals berth after beating Amari’s Nakayoshi, 9-4. No. 3 6JMS Pythons also recorded a 9-4 triumph over the 151 Proofers to move into the title match that will be played on Aug. 29.
Gilbert Gatmaitain, Omar Quindoza, Allan Dellica, Erwin Clavecillas, Joker Camacho, John Cruz, Noel Unay, and Rolly Morales played for 6JMS Mafia.
Meanwhile, the 6JMS Bulldogs defeated the Jonny’s Bull Hitters, 8-5, to advance to the quarterfinals of the C Division. Raymund Velasco, Orencia, Rod Pergil, Phil Celis, Ton Reyes, Agnes Tereyama, and Edwin Liclican delivered the wins for the 6JMS Bulldogs, which will challenge 6JMS Dart Vaders in the Round of 8 on Aug. 29. 6JMS Dart Vaders has Mike Ito, Zack Cruz, Warden Emulator, R. J. Llab, Russ Salmon, Dennis Moses, Harry Nekaifes, and Marty Llek on its roster.
The other quarterfinal pairings in C Division are Oleai Darts vs Jonny’s Werpa, Amari’s Built-It vs Rivers Shot, and Amari’s Weltzside vs Amari’s Like A G4.
