Eight major prizewinners from a pool of 5,000 tickets were chosen during Saipan Computer Service’s 4th Annual Customer Appreciation Raffle drawing yesterday.

The drawing included 10 minor prize winners for gift certificates worth $50 to Horizon’s Inc. and eight consolation prize winners for Opolar USB fans.

According to SCS director Jerry Tiu, the raffle is the company’s way of giving back to its loyal customers amidst the economic and weather challenges of the previous year—challenges that were also opportunities to learn and grow. He said all small businesses felt some hardship but he hopes for a better year this time around.

Melinda Madreo took home the ultimate grand prize, which was an entertainment bundle that included a 55” 4K Smart Curved LED TV, a Toshiba Satellite Tablet PC, a 5.1 smart BluRay Home Theater, and a Grand Videoke Harmony system.

Other major prize winners were Russ Quinn, who won the first prize, an HP Envy Beats All-in-one PC; Maggie Sablan, second prize, Microsoft Surface Pro; Susan Hofschneider, third prize, Apple Macbook Air; Cong Xiang Palacios, fourth prize, Apple Ipad Air 2; Rodulfo Bautista, fifth prize, GoPro Hero 3+; Carmen Sablan, sixth prize, Apple Watch; Ryan Reyes, seventh prize, ASUS Zenfone 2; and Butch Sigua, eighth prize, an HP all-in-one printer.

The consolation prize winners are Travis Iglesias, Sydney Villagomez, John Gourley, Rita Agulto, John Hirsch, Russ Quinn, Dante Apasan, and Jose Kwan.
