The Chinese television drama “Love Islands” recently filmed on Saipan and Tinian for an episode that will air in February 2015.

“Love Islands,” titled “Bian Shen Hua Mei Nan” in Chinese, consists of Chinese and Korean actors and has 10-million viewers in mainland China.

“The upcoming ad exposure from ‘Love Islands’ is really good for the Northern Marianas, because the sites visited in Saipan and Tinian will become better known to this large audience which will help bring more tourists from both China and Korea,” said Marianas Visitors Authority marketing manager Bruce Bateman.

The episode is expected to feature scenes filmed at various tour sites, including Micro Beach, along Beach Rd., Mariana Resort & Spa, T Galleria, and Tinian Dynasty Hotel & Casino. The production team also conducted aerial shooting via helicopter.

“Love Islands” is produced by Beijing Yin He Century Film Company. (MVA)
