Looking for a job? Want to learn new skills?
Precinct 2 Reps. Christina Sablan and John Paul Sablan invite the public to attend the CNMI’s first-ever Opportunity Expo at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center in Susupe on Saturday, Aug. 17, from 10am to 6pm. The event is free and all are welcome.
The expo aims to connect residents with the wide array of opportunities and resources available to them to better their lives, their families, and the community. The representatives are working in collaboration with numerous partners, including local businesses, government agencies, and nonprofits.
“We’ve invited participating organizations to share information about the opportunities they offer for personal and professional development,” Tina Sablan said. “These include job openings, small business support, volunteer service, education and training programs, resources for individuals with disabilities, help for addiction recovery, and more.”
Some participating organizations have indicated they will be conducting interviews or accepting applications on-site, so job seekers are asked to come to the expo with their resumes.
“I encourage everyone to come out and experience this opportunity,” John Paul Sablan said. “And I thank the community partners, local businesses, government agencies, and nonprofits who will be participating in this exciting event.”
