Keanah G. Deleon Guerrero, of Saipan, a freshman pursuing University Exploratory Studies; Amanda Maria W. Santos of Saipan, a junior taking up Fisheries and Wildlife Science; and Marquina M. Hofschneider of Tinian, a sophomore taking up Political Science have all made it to the Scholastic Honor Roll for the fall term at the Oregon State University by garnering grades of 3.5 or better. A total of 861 students earned straight-A (4.0).  Another 3,598 earned a B-plus (3.5) or better to make the listing. To be on the Honor Roll, students must carry at least 12 graded hours of course work.

Celine Orsini, another Saipan native, received academic honors from Arizona State University by making the University’s Dean’s List for the spring 2014 semester. Undergraduate students who earn 12 or more graded semester hours during a semester in residence at ASU with a GPA of 3.50 or higher are eligible for the Dean’s List. A notation regarding Dean’s List achievement appears on the unofficial transcript. (Saipan Tribune)
