Local student to graduate from Oregon State U

CORVALLIS, Ore.—Saipan resident Jan M. Reyes will be graduating with magna cum laude honors next month from the Oregon State University, when he earns his bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources.

Reyes will join other graduates when the university holds its 145th commencement on June 14, 2014, beginning at 10:30am in Reser Stadium.

The commencement speaker is Ann A. Kiessling, director of the independent Bedford Stem Cell Research Foundation and a leader in both stem cell research and reproductive biology. She also will receive an honorary doctorate from the university.
