Two more local businesses have come to Saipan Cares for Animals’ aid with Atkins-Kroll Toyota and White Coconut Computer Services becoming the latest companies that donated money to help fund the daily operations of the volunteers at the animal shelter in Lower Base.
Both companies made corporate donations to join a growing list of sponsors that has been helping SCfA. AK Toyota vice president Doug Brennan and White Coconut owner Bud White presented the checks to SCfA president Jason Hudy.
“It’s great that these companies have stepped up and made a commitment to help the animals in need on Saipan. Their contributions will go directly toward helping us stock the mediation needed to treat animals who are admitted to the Saipan Animal Shelter,” said Hudy.
“Dogs [and cats] that come in with mange, ticks, or other diseases and might not get the treatment they need to alleviate their suffering will now get the help they need, because businesses like these have stepped up and decided to help,” he added.
Hudy said SCfA has always been thankful for the companies and individuals that have been supporting them in their mission to humanely control the animal population on Saipan.
He added they just want to inform the community of the various donors that have been helping them out and at the same time keep the SCfA in the public eye.
Dogs and cats are always available for adoption, while volunteers are still needed to help socialize with the animals at the shelter.
