Lions Club helps KagES prepare for summer school
The Saipan Alliance Lions Club helped spruce up Kagman Elementary School last Sunday in preparation for the summer school session, which will begin on June 22 and last until July 31.
Saipan Alliance Lions Club members swept leaves and grass from the campus hallways and collected trash from around the school.
“We do not have any support staff to help with the cleanup for the school to be ready for the COVID-19 Intensive Summer Session,” said KagES principal Dr. Ignacia Demapan, who thanked the club for its help.
There were about 12 members from the Lions Club who joined the cleanup, headed by club president Danilo Robles. “We are grateful that we have an opportunity to assist and come together to help the community,” Robles said. “[We’re also] thankful for the overwhelming support of our members.”
The Saipan Alliance Lions Club has come together to help. Several of their donations were able to help those who have lost jobs during the pandemic crisis. The group had also donated goods to front-liners in the CNMI.
