Limtiaco promoted to head BoG’s info security

Bank of Guam announced yesterday the promotion of Matthew E. Limtiaco to vice president/information security manager.

Limtiaco, who has been with the bank since 2015, was with IBM Corp. from 2009-2015, serving as an expert on security and risk compliance.

Prior to that, Limtiaco consulted with a number of international Fortune 500 companies in the U.S. mainland, including Amgen, Inc., Computer Associates, Spirit Aerosystems and Coca-Cola, in the capacity of information security management.

A 1992 graduate of Father Duenas Memorial School, Limtiaco graduated from the University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, Indiana, with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering in 1996. He has earned a number of certifications including Certified Information Systems Security Professional. (PR)
