Let’s finish painting the Tanapag center
The Inetnon Amot yan Kutturan Natibu/Mwiischil Safey me Kkoor Aramasal Faluw, in partnership with the Office of the Mayor of Saipan and the Tanapag Parish Council, is looking for volunteers to help complete the painting of the Tanapag Community Center (across the Tanapag Church) this Saturday, May 26, 2012, from 8:30am to 3:30pm. Paints and brushes will be provided but you may bring your own paint brush. Lunch will also be provided.
With the new look and a little renovation at the center, the Tanapag Community Center will also be a part-time Chamorro-Carolinian village cultural center where traditional Chamorro and Carolinian knowledge and practices may be taught on some Saturdays throughout the year.
Funding for the painting and renovation of the Tanapag Community Center was provided in part by a grant from the Administration for Native Americans, an agency under the Administration for Children and Families, U.S. Department Health and Human Services, to the Inetnon Amot yan Kutturan Natibu/Mwiilschil Safey me Kkoor Aramasal Faluw.
