HAGATNA, Guam—Jesus H. Leon Guerrero has been promoted from Bank of Guam’s assistant vice president/senior credit analyst to vice president/relationship manager in the bank’s San Francisco branch in California.

The bank made the announcement yesterday.

Leon Guerrero attended Guam’s St. John’s School and graduated from Santa Clara University in 2010, with a bachelor degree in Commerce and Finance. That same year, he joined Fisher Investments, an independent wealth management firm, initially as a client operations associate, and was later promoted to Trading Operations Associate in 2012. Leon Guerrero joined Bank of Guam later in 2012 as an assistant vice president/senior credit analyst.

Leon Guerrero was acknowledged as a top performing lender for the 2011-2015 period from the State of California’s Infrastructure and Economic Development Bank. He served as a board member, RMA Golden Gate chapter, Young Professional chair. Currently, Leon Guerrero is the Finance and Membership chair and a board member of Curry PALS, a nonprofit focused on serving homeless seniors in San Francisco.

Bank of Guam is a $1.9-billion bank based in Hagatna, Guam, with 23 branches throughout the western Pacific. Founded in 1972, the bank is celebrating 45 years of serving the island communities. (PR)
