Late-night massages at Sunshine Massage

Sunshine Massage operates until 1am and offers massages to those who work late at night, according to Lan Lan Yang, who runs the place.
Established at the start of 2020, Sunshine Massage is the fulfillment of Yang’s longtime dream of opening and running her own massage parlor.
“At the beginning of this year we finally saw the realization of Sunshine Massage. Sunshine Massage had been an idea mine and the few [masseuses] that have real experience that you can only find at Sunshine Massage,” said Yang in an interview with Saipan Tribune.
Even before the COVID-19 pandemic reached Saipan, Sunshine Massage was already implementing safety guidelines, Yang said.
“Sunshine Massage was already instituting safeguards and precautionary health measures early in the year. Looking after our clients’ comfort and our cleanliness are some of our best attributes. Once the government-mandated shutdown was lifted, we thrived because of that,” she said. “Not only are we certified and licensed by the government but the measures we take for the health, safety, and welfare of the community go beyond the scope of the COVID-19 guidelines.”

Unlike other massage establishments on island, Sunshine Massage always had a strong local customer base. “By respecting the nature and customs of our clients, they receive the best treatment as to their specific needs. This, and other things, such as the size of the shop, maximizing comfort, safety, and privacy, enables us to provide the best massage on Saipan.”
Since it reopened shortly after the Governor’s COVID-19 Task Force lowered the islands’ Vulnerability Level to Blue, Yang said they’ve had a steady flow of customers and the most sought-after treatment is their oil massage.
“We have decades of experience. We tailor our massages to the individual needs of our clients. Our staff is also well known as the best on the island,” she said.
Currently, there are plans to expand to the second floor to augment their two single-bed massage rooms.
