Laolao Bay Golf & Resort will start its LaoLao Kids Club tomorrow, Oct. 10, from 9am to 3pm at the Kagman facility.

The weekly event, which will be held every Saturday and Sunday, will last throughout the year and is open to kids ages 6 to 12 years old.

Driving range golf lessons, use of swimming pool and kids activity room, and lunch and snacks are included in the registration fee.

The registration fees are $55 per child per day or $100 per child for the entire weekend.

Local market developer Franco Santos, who will be one of the golf range instructors, said Laolao Bay resort staff is going to be involved in the program.

“Each department will have specific programs assigned throughout the entire duration of the event,” said Santos, who was hired five years ago as a product of Laolao Bay Golf & Resort’s high school coop program.

Santos, who also came out of the CNMI junior golf program, was a member of Kagman High School’s men’s golf team that played in the Marianas Interscholastic Sports Organization.

“I will be involved mostly in all golf activities with the other golf coaches here,” added Santos, who represented the CNMI in the XV Pacific Games in Papua New Guinea in Port Moresby last July.

The inaugural program is a brainchild of LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort president Kim Chang Ho.
