Landlocked

I am writing to complain about the construction on Beach Road. I live at the apartment building at Beach Road and Alus Street.

The construction has been in the same spot since February. On Wednesday, June 13, 2018, the construction was extended one block so as to close off Alus Street. This effectively landlocked two apartment buildings on Alus Street. As seen in these pictures, there is no way to drive in or drive out of the parking lot of these apartment buildings. The Beach Road access is blocked by construction and the Alahai Avenue access is blocked by orange cones.

Because of lack of access to my parking spot on Wednesday, I had to park on the grass on the back side of the apartment building. There is nowhere else to park for residents of these two apartment buildings.  Each building in this picture is 20 units or more, so there are more than 40 families affected by the landlocked apartment buildings on Alus Street.
