Lady Dolphins triumph in Rocball League opener

The Lady Dolphins topped the Sisterhood in the opening game in the Marianas High School Rocball Girls League last week at the MHS Gymnasium.

The Lady Dolphins and Sisterhood will be joined in the round-robin, three-game elimination by the Noobs, I’d Hit That, Setsy Ladies, Fam Bam, and Team Yessir.

In other results of last week’s opening games, the Noobs juiced out Fam Bam in four sets. The Noobs scored 10 aces, five xunks, and three kees in their win over Fam Bam. Tarsila Balbin of the Noobs was the game’s heavy hitter after making 18 points off four aces, two xunks, and three kees.

Setsy Ladies also prevailed in their first game after defeating I’d Hit That in four sets. Players from the opposing teams are still adjusting to the game, as they looked like they were playing volleyball on a Rocball court. Only six aces and one kee were made in the match. (PR)
