Lady Diann Torres Foundation and NMC team up to fight cancer
The Lady Diann Torres Foundation and Northern Marianas College March Against Cancer committee are working together to raise funds to help cancer patients and their families in the CNMI. The Lady Diann Torres Foundation and the NMC March Against Cancer committee will have a booth for NMC’s biggest celebration of the year, Charter Day, on April 8 and 9, 2016.
“We are excited to have teamed up with the Northern Marianas College for the 2016 March Against Cancer. We believe that we can find a cure for cancer and we look forward to as much support as possible from everyone in our community,” First Lady Diann Torres said.
“We will be selling Marianas March Against Cancer luminaries and “Believe in a Cure” T-shirts. We will also have fun games, food for sale, and the governor will be making his delicious mushroom burgers,” she added.
NMC’s 35th Anniversary Charter Day celebration will be held for two days: April 8, 3:30pm to 9pm and April 9, 9am to 4pm at the NMC South Field.
