Lady Bombers ease past Lady Tritons, Acdavate defeats Fuetsa

In the Lady Triton Super League on Tuesday night at the UOG Calvo Field House, the Lady Bombers of Andersen Air Force Base had an easy time with the Lady Tritons of the University Guam in the first game of the night, as the Bombers won, 82-17, in a game decided in the first quarter. In the second game of the evening, the Team Acdavate defeated Team Fuetsa, 63-41, in the nightcap.
The Lady Tritons have had a hard time scoring all season, especially in the first quarter and Tuesday night was no different, the Tritons were shut out in the first quarter and trailed the Bombers, 26-0, after the first 10 minutes of the game.
The Tritons were able to score in the next three quarters, but the Bombers are just too much for UOG in a battle of the top team in the league and the last place team. The Bombers went on to win, 82-17.
Sophia Hansen led the Lady Bombers with 14 points, while Katie Mueller added 13 points. Tess Wagthuth scored 5 points to lead the Tritons.
The Bombers are now 6-0 in the Super League; while UOG is 0-6.
In the nightcap of the evening, Acdavate played well and led pretty much the whole night against Fuetsa, with a 19-13 lead after the first quarter and 41-28 at halftime. Fuetsa tried to rebound in the third period, but Acdavate held them off and regained a solid lead to end the third period with Acdavate up, 55-34. Acdavate went on to win the game, 63-41.
Crystal Pardilla led Acdavate with 16 points, while Jia Peters added 15. Shae Banez was the only double-digit scorer for Fuetsa with 10 points.
Acdavate improved to 3-3 in the Super League while Fuetsa fell to 3-4.
The Super League returns Thursday night, April 7, with two games as the BallHers take on Fuetsa at 6:30pm and Acdavate battles the Lady Bombers at 8:15pm. The Lady Triton Super League playoffs begin on Saturday, April 16. (PR)
