KZMI FM sponsors NMC golf tourney
KZMI FM recently donated $3,000 in radio advertisements to Northern Marianas College in support of the annual NMC Foundation Golf Tournament that will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018. To help promote the Northern Marianas College Foundation’s Golf Tournament, KZMI FM donated $3,000 in radio advertisements to market the event.
The 15th Annual NMC Foundation Open golf tournament is scheduled for Saturday, March 3, 2018.The event will be the first major golf tournament of the year.
“KZMI has always been a strong supporter of the NMC Foundation and of expanding higher education opportunities for students in the CNMI,” said Bob Webb, general manager of KZMI FM. “We will continue to support the efforts of the foundation in any way.
“We are extremely grateful for KZMI’s contribution to the tournament and its continued commitment to the college,” said Dr. Carmen Fernandez, NMC president.
The golf tournament is the NMC Foundation’s signature event that raises funds to support NMC’s academic programs and services.
“We are always excited to collaborate with KZMI in our promotional efforts for the Golf Tournament,” said Mary Tenorio, NMC Foundation board chair. “Thank you, KZMI, for your continued support.”
The 15th Annual NMC Foundation Open golf tournament will be held at the Saipan LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort (west course). Showtime is at 6am; shotgun start will be at 7am. The tournament will follow a medal play format.
First place winners in the men’s Championship, A, B, C, Senior, and Ladies Flights will each receive $500, while $300 and $200 will go to the second and third place finishers, respectively.
