The CNMI’s only television news station, KSPN, has added an Internet site to make it more accessible to mobile device users. Viewers may now access KSPN news at www.saipantv.com New shows will be added each evening Monday through Friday.

“We are proud to have produced a nightly newscast without missing a show, even through hardships such as Typhoon Soudelor,” said KSPN news director Bob Coldeen.

Cable television service will be restored once the power poles are replaced.

“The news is more important than ever and our news team is literally working around the clock to cover both this disaster and the recovery efforts. With our radio partners 100.3 FM we are broadcasting the live news at 6pm and then the video version is available on our site a short time later. Saipantv.com also has a lot more than just news on it, as we’ve added lots of high definition feature content as well,” said managing partner Chris Nelson. (KSPN)
