Das Krishnan won the Saipan Golf Association Ace of the Month Tournament for August last Aug. 21 at the Laolao Bay Golf & Resort east course.
The Crowne Plaza Resort Saipan F&B director shot a net score of 72 to beat a 12-golfer field for the SGA monthly tournament championship.
The 10-handicapper fired a gross score of 82 after shooting a 40 in the front nine and a 42 in the back nine.
With the win in the August tourney, Krishnan now joins Edward C. Sablan (January), Frances M. Sablan (February), Nick C. Sablan (March), Larry I. Deleon Guerrero (April), Alex Tudela (May), Mariano Fajardo (June), and Rick Kautz (July) in the season-ending 2022 SGA Ace of Aces tourney.
In the closest to the pin competition, Krishnan was without peer in holes No. 4 and 6, while Jung Eun Teack won hole No. 11. Veteran Nick Sablan topped hole No. 15.
Rick Kautz brought the lumber in the longest drive competition in hole No. 3, while Tony Benavente did the same in hole No. 18.
SGA will hold its 2022 September Ace of the Month Tournament this Sunday, Sept. 11, at the Coral Ocean Resort. Tee time is at 8:30am with show time at 8am.
