Korea’s No. 1 golf channel, SBS Golf, wrapped up a four-day shoot on Saipan over the weekend with name brand Titleist. The shoot featured five professional golfers and amateurs at the Greg Norman-designed LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort.

In addition to shooting practice sessions, participant interviews, and games at the picturesque course, the familiarization tour also filmed at scenic and historic sites in Marpi including the Korean Peace Memorial and Bird Island, the award-winning Managaha, and in the downtown tourist district of Garapan.

“LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort is an excellent example of the extraordinary courses the Northern Marianas has to offer golfers on Saipan and Rota. The Marianas Visitors Authority was pleased to help arrange this filming by SBS Golf and Titleist,” said MVA marketing manager Bruce Bateman. “We expect this coverage to entice even more golfers and tournaments to the NMI.”
