The Koblerville Fire Station No. 4 will be shut down on Nov. 16 for renovation and expansion, according to a statement yesterday from the Department of Fire and Emergency Medical Service.

The construction will begin on Nov. 21, 2016, and it will take approximately 120 days for the project to be completed.

All fire fighters and emergency vehicles assigned to the Koblerville station will be relocated to the Susupe Fire Station No. 1 for the duration of the construction. All calls for emergency will still be made by dialing 911 or 664-9003/4.

This expansion/renovation project is made possible through the Community Development Block Grant from the U.S. Housing and Urban Development through the Northern Marianas Housing Corp. (DFEMS)
