KMCV LLC, or Flame Tree TV Productions, has signed on as a title sponsor of the Micronesia Islands Nature Alliance’s Green Gala 2018, with a presentation held at their studio with the KSPN2 News anchors/reporters and KSPN2 News team.
“The KSPN 2 News crew is proud to support Micronesia Islands Nature Alliance in all of their endeavors to protect our islands, our home,” said Adriana Cotero, KSPN2 News anchor. “MINA is at the helm of conserving our environment, and this hard work does not go unnoticed. KSPN2 appreciates all that you do! Thank you, MINA!”
Somia Quan, MINA vice chair, and Dave Guerrero, MINA’s treasurer, were on hand for the presentation, and expressed their deep appreciation to KMCV‘s devoted team.
“KSPN 2 News covers so many highlights of the happenings around the island, including the work that MINA does to conserve our island’s natural resources, and really helps to spread the word about our mission,” said Guerrero.
Quan echoed the organization’s thanks to the news and production team at KMCV: “It’s quality news reporting that viewers can see and relate to about the challenges that MINA’s rangers face on a daily basis. These stories have a positive impact on the message that our island’s natural beauty is all we have, and it needs to be protected.”
The Green Gala raises much-needed funds to continue the work started in 2005 with the mission of “Empowering Communities for Conservation.” This year’s gala is set for Sept. 14, 2018, at the Hibiscus Hall, Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan, and tickets are $75.00.
