Kili Café and Terrace to host ‘Latin American Kitchen’ every Thursday

Starting today, July 24, 2014, Thursday nights will be featuring The Latin American Kitchen—a hot, full-bodied and creative myriad of flavors—all showcased at Kili Café and Terrace.

The Latin American cuisine is comprised of culinary pickings from South and Central America, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, and many more. Guests can expect bold flavors representing that diverse side of the globe especially prepared by Hyatt’s skillful culinary team.

A spiced-up buffet of Lat-Am favorites will excite taste buds with the likes of seafood ceviche, grilled steak with chimichurri sauce, a live fresh taco station, churros and tres leches cake. For a limited time, Hyatt invites guests to pair these bold offerings with a free-flowing wine from Chile, Viňa Maipo.

The Latin American Kitchen is inspired by one of Hyatt Regency Saipan’s recent winnings during the Taste of Marianas—an event hosted by the local visitors’ authority in celebration of Tourism Month. Hyatt’s team bested other competitors in presenting the most outstanding “Mexican Beef Tacos,” taking home top honors in the Chefs’ Competition.

The Latin American Kitchen is open every Thursday, and is priced at $40 per person. Club at the Hyatt members are welcome.

THEMED NIGHTS

– Monday: Seafood Barbecue

Every Monday, enjoy a wide selection of grilled seafood items prepared on the open charcoal-fired grill at Kili Café and Terrace. The selection will include parrot fish, squid, jumbo tiger prawns, seafood skewers and much more.

– Tuesday: European Fair

Every Tuesday, Kili Café will feature the subtle and diverse culinary traditions of Europe, including prime rib carving, smoked salmon, assorted sashimi, shrimp, poached terrine, and distinctive European confections.

– Wednesday: Cajun and Creole Fest

The unique flavors of New Orleans take the spotlight every Wednesday night at Kili. Feast on South American barbecue including pork spare ribs, smoked brisket, barbecue chicken, sashimi, baked mussels, lemon-chocolate doberge cake and rice fritters.

– Thursday: The Latin American Kitchen

Spice up your Thursdays with the full-bodied flavors of Latin America. A buffet of Lat-Am favorites will excite taste buds including seafood ceviche, grilled chimichurri sauce, a live fresh taco station, churros and tres leches cake.

– Friday: Marianas Barbecue

Every Friday the buffet will feature the aromas of a wide selection of barbecue items, including Certified Angus Beef® short ribs, Chamorro smoked sausages, reef fish, apigigi coconut cake and much more.

– Saturday: Ocean’s Bounty

Every Saturday at Kili Café and Terrace, savor a wide array of seafood featuring salt-crusted Chilean salmon, green mussels, tuna poke, shrimp, oyster, and snow crab legs.

– Sunday: Tour of Asia

Sundays feature the hustle and bustle of Asia in a wide tapestry of south Asian curries, a noodle station, bold Korean flavors, home-made naan bread and Indonesian rice cake selections. Do not miss the special satay station by our very own Indonesian Chef de Cuisine, Sugeng Pribadi featured every last Sunday of the month. (Hyatt)
