Kids help raise funds for Wish Kids

Brothers Christian and Ruben Guerrero (with the help of their parents, godsister Sydney Villagomez, and other friends and family) organized a holiday “Kids for Wish Kids” Bake Sale and Charity Drive last Dec. 19 to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation’s Wish Kids.

Friends and family members from the community supported the two brothers in their efforts to help raise funds for Wish Kids, whose lives are challenged with life-threatening illnesses. As a way to make these children’s lives a bit brighter, Christian, Ruben and their friends raised $275 in cash pledges from supporters, $844.76 in the sale of baked goods and $113.66 in change drive funds. In total, the boys managed to raise an impressive $1,233.42.
