A select group of Keynotes School of Music students will hold a fundraising concert titled “Musical Parade on Memory Lane” on Oct. 18, 2014, starting at 6pm at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center in Susupe. The concert will feature a repertoire of golden oldies from circa 1910 to 1980.

Prior to the concert, starting at 3pm, KSM is also holding a recital titled “Autumn Musical Wonders” that will be participated mostly by beginner students.

The concert aims to raise fund needed to send two Keynotes students to Guam next year to compete in the 2015 Tumon Bay Music Festival.

The concert’s spotlight will focus on Keynotes’ six most notable piano and voice students led by 14-year-old Erica Faye Tubera, the Tumon Bay Festival’s 2013 and 2014 gold medalist and 2013 NMC Charter Day Marianas Idol grand winner—just a few of her victories in competitions since she started singing at age 2.

The concert also celebrates the outstanding singing talent of Shane Sabino and Juliet Inocencio. Singing honors recently earned by the 8-year-old Sabino are 2013 CNMI Got Talent and 2014 NMC Charter Day’s Marianas Idol grand winner. Nine-year-old Inocencio, on the other hand, is a powerful songster who gave a stirring rendition of Adele’s Rolling in the Deep at the 2014 Little Ms. Pusong Pinoy, the contest which she won by besting 19 other contestants.

The concert will also feature three other KSM’s rising piano and voice talents starting with Aiko Erungel who loves singing and was a contestant in the 2014 Miss Marianas Teen, 10-year-old Mark Ira Galang, a promising singer who has been taking voice lessons at Keynotes for two years now and the little girl whose dream is to become a professional singer, 8-year-old Mica Ella Sune.

Keynotes School of Music is inviting the general public to the recital and concert on Oct. 18, 2014, at Multi-Purpose Center in Susupe. Both shows guarantee wholesome entertainment for the family and for a good cause.

There will be free admission for the recital. Entrance ticket to the concert costs $5 per person. (KSM)
