Kelvin to fight in B2 Fighting Series 132

The CNMI’s very own Kelvin “The Big Hit” Fitial will see action in B2 Fighting Series 132 set on Aug. 21 in Shepherdsville, Kentucky.
Fitial, fighting out of Blue Blood Muay Thai/Four Seasons Martial Arts Gym, will take on Rakim Cleveland in a pro heavyweight title bout.
Cleveland hails from Dayton, Texas and comes into the fight with 21-13-1-1 win-loss-draw-no contest card. The Des Moines MMA Academy/Glory MMA & Fitness fighter is 6’3” and tips the scales at 205 lbs.
He has won his last two fights—a second round TKO (strikes) win against Scott Hough in North Iowa Fights last April 24 and a second round submission win against Parnell Davis in Caged Agression 30 last March 25.
The 37-year-old Fitial will come into the ring with a 15-9-2 win-loss-draw record and is 6’3” tall and currently weighs 253 lbs. Fitial last fought professionally in March 2019 in Hex Fight Series 18 in Melbourne, Australia where he was knocked out in the opening round by Australia’s Benjamin Sosoli.
He is currently in Louisville, Kentucky for training camp under Raymond Diaz and the aforementioned Blue Blood Muay Thai/Four Seasons Martial Arts Gym.
Commenters in MMA fight website Tapology currently predicts a Fitial win over Cleveland, 80%-20%.
Fitial said he has yet to scout his opponent for B2 Fighting Series 132. “I don’t know much about him. I am just excited to be back and be given the opportunity. I feel good. Training harder every day leading up to this fight.” he said.
Aside from the Fitial-Cleveland pro fight in the 265-lb division, the rest of the fight card for B2 Fighting Series 132 include: Gabriel Mota vs. Nathan Pierce in the 185-lb division; Yemi Oduwole vs. Brandon Bell in the 170-lb division; Gage Mitchell vs. Trea Wills in the 125-lb division; Loi Pio vs. Donnell Walker in the 265-lb division; Nicholas Mondelli vs. Wilder Portales in the 170-lb division; Lane Lightle vs. Eric Gilbert in the 265-lb division; Vester Harris vs. Jordan Tennyson in the 265-lb division; Trevor Rickard vs. Stephen Waggener in the 145-lb division; Blake Alvey vs. Alex Leemon in the 135-lb division; and Kalakon Olieng vs. Aaron White in the 145-lb division.
Two weeks after his fight against Cleveland, Fitial will take on Chandler Cole in the pro heavyweight fight of Showcase MMA’s Checkmate set for Sept. 3 at the Meadowview Convention Center in Kingsport, Tennessee.
Fighting out of Wise County Combat Club, the 5’10” Cole is currently the No. 1 ranked professional MMA heavyweight in Tennessee and sixth ranked in the U.S. Southeast. In the country, he is the 28th ranked pro heavyweight in the sport of MMA.
