Karidat Social Services will be having a fundraising luncheon at the Hyatt Regency Saipan on Sept. 15 from 11am to 2pm, and will be presenting four awards to honor its many supporters in the community.

The non-profit’s fundraising is in honor of those who have contributed to the mission of the organization.

Four awards will be presented at the event, including the Bishop Emeritus Tomas A Camacho-Spirit of Service Award, to recognize individuals who has made significant contributions to the community through volunteering, and whose ethical standards are consistent with the mission and values of the Diocese of Chalan Kanoa or Karidat Social Services.

Karidat will also present the Faith, Hope, and Karidat Award, which recognizes devotion to reducing poverty, promoting recovery, and strengthening families; the Corporate Champion Award to give recognition to a generous donor to Karidat Social Services; and the Partnership in Service Award to recognize a person or an entity that generously supports and partners with Karidat in providing social services.

To purchase tickets or to help Karidat sell tickets, contact Lauri Ogumoro, Karidat Social Services director, at 234-6981.
