Karidat in need of toy drive sponsor

Share

According to the Karidat office, no toy drives for the holidays have been officially planned but they are open to one if a sponsor for toys were found.

According to the office, one member from the community, a recently elected House representative, did reach out and they are waiting word from him.

As for a food drive, parishes from the community did donate cans of food during Thanksgiving, but they do not anticipate a food drive for the upcoming holidays ahead.

Karidat Social Services is non-profit charitable organization, and one of Saipan’s premier social services arm. Including food or toy drives, they also case manage community members under the Emergency Solutions Grant Program, which offers financial assistance to people who are at risk of being homeless or are homeless, conducting quarterly visits to households under the program.
