Superior Court Associate Judge David A. Wiseman gave a “2015 Law Day” presentation before an assembly of students at Kagman High School. In front of students in a packed cafeteria, Wiseman explained the value and applicability of the law in the lives of ordinary citizens, as well as a discussion on this year’s Law Day theme of Magna Carta.

Wiseman also conducted a Q&A session where the judge answered questions from high school students and staff. The questions ranged from light-hearted topics such as where Wiseman got his suit, to thought-provoking questions such as the merits of the death penalty.

Law Day takes place every year on the first day of May. In 1958, President Dwight D. Eisenhower established Law Day as a day of national dedication to the principles of government under the law. (PR)
