JSTA leads Garapan holiday cleanup

In preparation for Christmas and New Year’s, the Japan Saipan Travel Association and its tourism partners conducted a cleanup of the main tourist district of Garapan on Dec. 20, 2014.

Seventy-three volunteers joined the cleanup beginning at 6:30am and held along both the roadside and beachside from the Carolinian Affairs Office to Micro Beach. Groups and companies joining JSTA included PDI, PMT, Tasi Tours, R&C Tours, H.I.S., Good Care, Hoshuko, Japanese Society of the Northern Mariana Islands, Saipan Swim Club, Himawari, Himawari Kenbukan, Aqua Connections, Peace Divers, Wondersea, S2 Club, MSC, WATABE, Aqua Blue, Fiesta Resort & Spa, Marianas Visitors Authority, NTA, Sea Lovers, Aqua Marine, CMLC, Sea Shore Inc., Marine Quest, AQUASOUL SAIPAN, Northern Marianas Dive Operators Association, and Hotel Association of the Northern Mariana Islands.
