The Joeten Daidai Foundation has pledged $5,000 for the 32nd Annual American Red Cross Club 200 fundraiser as representatives from both organizations gathered together at Joeten Susupe on Tuesday morning.
“We are extremely grateful for the support of the Joeten Group of Companies over the years. Their generous contribution to the American Red Cross enables us to put our humanitarian mission into action,” said Tayna Belyeu-Camacho, board chair of the American Red Cross-NMI Chapter.
“The American Red Cross has proven themselves time and time again in the face of endless natural disasters,” said Foundation executive director Patty T. Palacios. “Their mission of helping alleviate human suffering never really stops. Because of their commitment in helping the people of the CNMI, the Joeten Daidai Foundation has chosen to donate to the Red Cross NMI Chapter.”
This year’s fundraising event will be exclusively online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This year’s theme will be “Wild About the Red Cross” and includes fantastic door prizes, auction items and a live streaming event on Dec. 19, a Saturday.
Help support the Red Cross humanitarian work by purchasing tickets. Tickets are only $50 each and available online at www.redcross.org/club200. Every $50 ticket purchase will have a chance to win door prizes. If buyers don’t have a credit or debit card, contact the Red Cross office at 234- 3459 for more information. (PR)
