Then in the second period, Triple J managed to cut Joeten 1’s lead to 3 points, 39-42, as the former picked up its scoring in that frame. Perry Inos and Emannuel Cobacha tagged team in the second quarter for Triple J as they combined for 12. The duo connected on four straight triples to start the team’s comeback bid, while Bryan Santos closed out for Triple J and contributed 5 points.

After being threatened in the second quarter, Joeten 1 picked up the slack in the third frame and regained the double-digit lead 10, 63-53, behind the 6 points of Teregeyo.

Joeten 1 then widened the gap further in the fourth period with Chris Lilles carrying the team in the final canto after delivering 10 points. Quan also helped out in the fourth period, adding 7 to finish with a game-high 26 points.
