Joanna Rabago, account manager of DOCOMO Pacific Saipan, makes life for their clients convenient while getting maximum benefits and support for existing accounts and prospective ones. She is in charge of talking to businesses and that’s on top of always of providing excellent customer service.

“I seek various businesses and try to offer them the best solutions for their telecommunication or networking needs. I officially started this position in the early week of October…this is a new role for me at DOCOMO for I have been with the company for five years doing business services in the past,” she said.

“My day is never without attending meetings or doing client calls talking to people. Due to COVID-19, work goes on as I have had a lot of meetings done virtually or sometimes through the phone which makes it a bit difficult but we still find a way to make it work. Other than that, it has been the right kind of busy,” she added

Rabago embarked on a journey to join the workforce after graduating from Kagman High School in 2004 and slowly but surely built up a career that she enjoys. “I have been working since I graduated from high school and most of my work experience is in the private sector dealing with customer service. I worked for the Federal Emergency Management Agency at one point in 2004 where we did crisis counseling,” she said.

“A lot of my work experience led me to the position that I am in right now which is mainly customer service and assisting clients with their needs…Good customer service is one of our priorities at DOCOMO Pacific as it gives our clients a complete and beneficial experience that aligns with our purpose,” she added.

In August, DOCOMO Pacific officially launched the first 5G or 5th generation technology in Guam and the CNMI. 5G technology is designed to connect everyone to make calls, receive messages, and surf the world wide web faster and clearer in the palm of their hands.

“Clients are pouring in and with the 5G service, we do have a lot of clients inquiring about it which is available currently in Garapan. 5G speed is awesome and further serves our customers better, we also restructured our rates for business online speed because in a fast-paced world we live in, we have a lot of customers that are interested with our rates and speed,” Rabago said.

“Expanding our 5G I believe is in the works… and ultimately our goal is to have our services all around the CNMI. There are many advantages of using 5G work-wise, for school, or for whatever reason because at DOCOMO, we strive to help clients to make many things easier with the use of technology,” she added.
