JKPL programs and services in July
The Joeten-Kiyu Public Library’s Summer Reading Program “Imagine Your Story” is sharing limited public programs and services with the community this July.
Registration is required. Valid Joeten-Kiyu Public Library card is required and limited seats only. Patrons under age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Registration is open on Tuesday to Thursday from 9:30am to 3:30pm and Friday and Saturday from 9:30am to 11:30am. You may call them at 235-7315/7322/7323(READ).
Limited programs and services
Free Early Literacy Story Hour: Motheread/Fatheread CNMI Children’s Story Exploring Class; Age 0-4 years old; Tuesdays: July 14, 21, and 28, from 2:30pm to 3:30pm; Friday: July 31, from 10:30am to 11:300pm; Registration required; 10 seats only.
Free Children’s Story Hours: Motheread/Fatheread CNMI Children’s Story Exploring class; Age 5-11 years old; Wednesdays and Thursdays: July 15, 16, 22, 23, 29, and 30, from 10:30am to 11:30am; Registration required. Ten seats only.
AV2 Let’s Read: Added value/audio visual media enhanced books; Age 6 years and older; Saturdays: July 18 and 25, from 10:30am to 11:30 am; six seats only.
Libraries Lead with Digital Skills Program: age 18 years and older; Tuesdays to Saturdays by appointment; registration required; five seats only.
Community Cultural Class: Talaya (cast net or throw net); Saturdays: July 11, 18, and 25, at 1:30pm; 15 seats only.
Beginner Ukulele Class: Fee $25/individual; Age 8 years old and older; Tuesdays and Fridays: July 14, 17, 21, and 24, from 10:30am to 11:30am; Registration required; 20 seats only.
Baker & Taylor Axis 360 e-books: A library card and pin is required. To request for a pin, call the library.
