Japanese class
On May 16, 2018, the Teen Summer Library Experience and Adult Summer Library Institute kicked off with an Intro to Japanese class taught by instructor Yoko Fujioka-Kern.

In a series of eight classes, participants will learn the basics of Japanese, such as basic pronunciation, Japanese history, culture, and simple vocabulary. Because it is part of the Collaborative Summer Library Institute, participants are able to count this class toward completing their reading log. Contact Emily Van Weerdhuizen for more information about the free Teen and Adult Summer Library Program at emily.jkpl@gmail.com or call 235-7323. (PR)
