Japan’s “SNS Queen” Ayumi Inui was in the Northern Mariana Islands this month to prepare an exclusive video about the destination.

Inui has over 20,000 followers on YouTube, 130,000 on Twitter, 9,000 on Facebook, 8,000 on Google+, and 715,000 on Snappee, (an iPhone app for sharing photos widely used in Japan). A 3- to 5-minute video will be uploaded to her SNS pages as her exclusive “Saipan Report.”

“Ayumi Inui has influence with the next generation in Japan who follow her on social media. In return for the Marianas Visitors Authority helping her attain a photography permit to shoot on Saipan, we look forward to the ad exposure we will receive through her video report,” said MVA marketing manager Bruce Bateman.

While on Saipan on Sept. 1-4, 2014, Inui visited Managaha, where diving and massage were filmed. She also took a sightseeing tour and went to the Garapan Street Market. Inui lodged at Mariana Resort & Spa, where she filmed handmade soap production with Mariana Ocean. (MVA)
